The primary target group is employees, especially all level managers, and future entrepreneurs of SMEs who will create new jobs. The secondary target group is vocational training institutions, distance education centres, and business support centres, as well as teachers who will introduce new vocational courses.
The existing online courses and training material will be updated and adapted for implementation in vocational education of participating countries.
Updating and adapting process will consist of four steps:
Step 1: To review existing courses and training materials and find outdated subjects and information or other inadequacies with business application of modern information systems and technologies;
Step 2: To survey entrepreneurs' real needs for above-mentioned subjects in every country, thus identifying both common needs for all participating countries and specific criteria to the courses and training materials;
Step 3: To update courses and training materials, as well as to add new subjects and content if any will be required according to the needs analysis;
Step 4: To organise pilot testing in all participating countries.
The consortium of the project is made up of 6 partners from 5 European countries:Lithuania, Latvia, Spain, Slovenia, Hungary. The partners for this project were selected based on their previous experience in thematic area of the project and represent different types of organizations: institutions providing learning opportunities, enterprise and associations.
The project partners will create modern distance education system with 3 learning modules. 50 SMEs' employees and future entrepreneurs will be educated during pilot testing. Moreover this learning system will give considerable support for VET systems of the partner countries through closer links to working life and modern business needs.
All partners are linked to or represent VET organizations who have direct access to the target groups. After the Project, the developed training modules will be used in business support courses offered in all countries of the Project participants. The training programs with the new modules will be certified according to the national legislation of each country.
E-learning will provide equal opportunities for both men and women of all age groups, including those with special needs.
